Los Angeles Pawn Shop

Los Angeles Loan

If you are in Los Angeles and need information on obtaining a loan, who do you call? It depends on if you need the loan quickly or you have time on your hands. Are you looking for the best possible rate or is speed and convenience more important?

So why use pawn shop when someone could just walk into a bank to obtain a loan. There are a multitude of reasons:

1. A pawn shop does not use your credit report and can fund very quickly. The vast majority of funding sources such as banks and private lenders are not licensed use a wide variety of items, such as jewelry, fine watches, and coins, gold and silver to provide security for your borrowing needs. Moreover, a local bank can only offer you the programs that they have available and that is where they are limited. If you desire to find out how to get the most for your jewelry or other items, with the fastest turn-around-time, you don't ask a bank...you ask a pawnbroker.

2. Superior service. Bank employees are on a salary and will only see you during their business hours. However, you can reach your pawnbroker after hours, on weekends, or whenever is convenient for you. A pawn shop does not get paid until after the transaction is completed between you and him, so he has the incentive and motivation to take the best care of you as the client.

So, you have a great deal to gain - in speed and service and nothing to lose. So, talk to your Los Angeles pawn shop TODAY by calling 310-276-5626. We serve all of Southern California. Are you in? The following information is a transcript from an interview with Kevin W. and Greg G., regarding the pawn loan business, who conducts interviews with PR Web, a news release organization.

Please let me know how you got into the business and what is your history?

First of all, I have been in the mortgage loan business for over ten years. I began in the real estate industry as an investor then proceeded on into building. My wife helped me by providing moral support and was my cheerleader in the business.

I spent over ten years helping people obtain mortgages. I met Greg over ten years ago as we were neighbors for about five years. He ran another operation in Beverly Hills on Rodeo Drive and we have great rapport and developed a trusting relationship. Then, after Greg had some medical issues he had to take some time off.

We discussed the economy and the real estate and mortgage industry. Then we talked about how the pawn shop arena could help many people who are struggling with the current market climate. So, as a result, VLC was developed and started as a company. Our approach is that we see the client’s financial needs, the collateral they bring to the table and if a mortgage or a straight out collateralize borrowing agreement meets their current needs and goals.

What is your role with the company?

Kevin: I filed the company name, the corporate structure and Greg runs the company with regard to most of the client interaction. I provide financing sources and am intimately involved with the marketing and promotion. So, I handle the technological aspects and arrange the funding. I also do research to find information to promote the enterprise and to educate our customers. So, I do the business promotion and Greg has a great many contacts because he has been directly involved in this type of industry for over 25 years.

Greg: My wife and I have been involved in the mortgage and real estate business for a number of years. I launched a company named Beverly Hills Jewelry Buyers and Beverly Hills Jewelry Lenders, the names of which are pretty self-explanatory. Once I had my cardiovascular issue, I was looking for a way to get back into the arena I love and know so well. After a few years off, Kevin and I started talking about re-launching the business in Santa Clarita. Then I met up with some old contacts in Beverly Hills and we decided to add an additional branch there. The mortgage and real estate business was slowing down, so we decided to get into a field in which I was experienced but had more demand than the mortgage arena.

Because I had a great deal of information, education and knowledge to provide service to clients we made the decision to slow the mortgage and real estate and grow the pawn shop side of things, and things just started to grow. We rekindled old relationships and our old contacts excited that we were getting back into the industry. So, not only the idea but the things needed to grow the company sprouted like flowers on Spring day. We have tremendous financial backing and a location near Los Angeles and in the North County. This enables us to provide service the public and to bring our knowledge and financial assistance and advice to members of the public who need the service.

What is the best way to get in contact with you?

There are two numbers where one can get a hold of us. First is the Rodeo Drive location at 310-276-5626. The other is in Valencia at 661-310-2820. Though we are in the pawn business and are phasing out of the real estate and real estate-related arena we can give financial advice plus experienced borrowing advice to our clients.

What should people expect to hear when the call?

When callers reach us we will discuss the items that they will present as collateral. We do not check credit reports or care of they are homeowners or have other real estate. We give them advice on how to obtain the greatest amount possible. The advice we give is refreshing because many clients will have never heard someone so helpful and caring. Then we will set up a time and day to meet. We will see the value of their collateral, complete the paperwork, and then they will walk out of our offices with funds in their hands.
